Mini-Grant Application Due

We are trying out a mini-grant program aimed at covering some resource expenses for undergraduates who are doing physics-related research for the first time this academic year. For example, you can apply to get reimbursed for

• Small equipment purchases for experimental labs
• Software purchases, such as productivity apps
• Compute time on commercial servers such as Google Colab
• Cost of traveling to conferences

Applications will be reviewed by our faculty advisor Prof. Victoria Xu, and by the Equity & Inclusion board at SPS. We have an allocation of $700, and the maximum grant we will distribute per research group is $150. For more info see tinyurl.com/spsgrant
